Abstract:
This optical transmission device comprises: a first optical phase modulator that, on the basis of a first electric signal inputted to a first electric signal input unit, phase-modulates output light from a first laser diode; a second optical phase modulator that, on the basis of a second electric signal inputted to a second electric signal input unit, phase-modulates output light from a second laser diode; an optical multiplexer that multiplexes the output light from the first optical phase modulator and the output light from the second optical phase modulator; a photodiode that converts output light from the optical multiplexer into a heterodyne detection signal; and an optical intensity modulator that, on the basis of the heterodyne detection signal outputted from the photodiode, intensity-modulates output light from a third laser diode.
