Abstract:
The optical transmission module according to the present invention is provided with: a signal light generating unit for generating first signal light and second signal light; and an optical multiplexer for multiplexing the first signal light and the second signal light, the optical multiplexer being optically coupled to the signal light generating unit. The optical multiplexer has: a light selection filter for multiplexing the first signal light and the second signal light by reflecting the first signal light and transmitting the second signal light; and an etalon for compensating for wavelength dispersion of the first signal light and/or the second signal light after multiplexing, the etalon being disposed on an optical path between the light selection filter and a light emission point of the optical multiplexer.
