Title:
OPTICAL TRANSMISSION AND RECEPTION SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/261401
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an optical transmission and reception system which includes: an optical transmitter provided with an optical modulator which optically modulates a transmission signal to which a known signal is inserted at a prescribed interval and transmits the optically modulated signal to an optical transmission line; and an optical receiver provided with an optical RC circuit which transforms the optically modulated signal received from the optical transmission line into complex time-series signals, a photoelectric conversion element which converts the complex time-series signals into electric intensity signals, and a digital signal processing unit that performs learning by taking the known signal as a teacher signal and performs, on the basis of the learnt result, demodulation by using the electric intensity signals received from the photoelectric conversion element.
