Abstract:
According to the present invention, an optical tweezers device determines capturing force data that indicates the capturing force of a microparticle on the basis of the distance between a microparticle captured by laser light focused by a lens and a focal point of the lens. Further, the optical tweezers device determines a difference of a logical value of the capturing force estimated on the basis of a linear relationship established between the distance between the captured microparticle and the focal point of the lens and the capturing force indicated by the capturing force data. In addition, the optical tweezers device controls a laser output of a light source on the basis of the difference in the capturing force.
