Abstract:
Provided is an optical unit comprising: a fixed unit that includes a front frame part for holding an object-side fixed lens group, a rear frame part for holding an image-side fixed lens group or an image pickup element, and a fixed-unit body which is formed using a non-magnetic material and which is for holding the front frame part and the rear frame part; the object-side fixed lens group; a movable unit for holding a movable lens group between the image-side fixed lens group and the image pickup element, and which is formed so as to be slidably disposed on the radial inner-side of the fixed-unit body so as to slide with respect to the fixed-unit body; and a voice coil motor that includes a magnetic part which is provided to the movable unit and which is magnetically polarized in a direction intersecting the optical axis of the object-side fixed lens group, and a coil which is provided to the fixed-unit body and which is positioned on the radial outer-side of the fixed-unit body with respect to the magnetic part, the voice coil motor enabling the movable unit to move relative to the fixed-unit body along the optical axis direction.
