Abstract:
The present invention achieves a reduction in the size of an optical unit comprising a shake correction drive mechanism that drives a moving body having an optical module around a first axis and a second axis. The present invention comprises: a moving body 5 having an optical module 3; a fixed body 7 that displaceably retains the moving body; a gimbal mechanism 21 provided with a first support part 19 that supports the moving body so that the moving body can swing around a first axis L1 which intersects an optical axis L direction, and a second support part 20 that is supported by a member on the fixed body side so as to be capable of swinging around a second axis L2 which intersects an optical axis direction Z and the first axis direction; and a shake correction drive mechanism 23 that drives the moving body around the first axis and the second axis. The gimbal mechanism 21 comprises: a gimbal frame 25 that is disposed on either a subject side or a side opposite the subject side; a first support part extension 27 that extends from the frame 25 in the optical axis direction Z and that has the first support part; and a second support part extension 29 that has the second support part.
