Abstract:
The present invention provides an optical water level sensor using total reflection between heterogeneous materials different in refractive index from each other. The optical water level sensor comprises: a light-emitting part; a light-receiving part; a case having respective insertion areas formed therein for the light-emitting part and the light-receiving part and housing the light-emitting part and the light-receiving part; and a prism formed between the insertion areas for the light-emitting part and the light-receiving part and made of the same material as the case, wherein the prism is integrated with one surface of the case.
