Provided in the present application are a light combining unit, an optical assembly, an optical machine, an optical waveguide, a near-to-eye display device, and a manufacturing method for an optical waveguide. By means of a design of four prism units of the light combining unit, an arrangement scheme of light-emitting units in the optical assembly is more flexible, and the structural compactness of the near-eye display device and the optical machine is facilitated. By means of a specific structural design of the optical waveguide, the diffraction efficiency of the optical waveguide can be improved, an image display effect is improved, a ghost image problem is solved, and a near-to-eye display design has the advantages of being lightweight, etc. Further provided in the present application is a flexible optical waveguide. By using the manufacturing method for an optical waveguide that is provided in the present application, the reliability of demolding in a manufacturing process can be improved, the structural stability of the optical waveguide can be improved, and an optical anti-reflection function is improved.
