Abstract:
The present invention relates to an optical waveguide, an optical system, and an optical gas sensor, wherein a parabolic reflector is disposed geometrically such that the optical waveguide is fabricated so as to have a small length, a small thickness, and a large optical path length, thereby improving the optical absorbance of gas molecules, and increasing the product productivity. A path expansion portion for expanding the optical path length (L) from a light source to an optical detector according to the present invention comprises: at least one nth path-expansion parabolic reflector disposed to have a predetermined angle with a first optical axis so as to reflect light that is incident in parallel with the first optical axis to a (m+2)th focal point; a bottom reflector having a (m+2)th focal point and configured to reflect light that is incident onto the (m+2)th focal point after being reflected by the nth path-expansion parabolic reflector; and at least one (n+1)th path-expansion parabolic reflector disposed to face the nth path-expansion parabolic reflector, to share the (m+2)th focal point, and to reflect light, which is incident after being reflected at the (m+2)th focal point of the bottom reflector, in a direction parallel with the first optical axis.
