Abstract:
According to the present invention, a wireless transmitter/receiver generates first signals for reporting timing of time slots allocated to respective radio station devices. A conversion unit converts the first signals into optical signals. A plurality of antenna units convert the first signals from the optical signals into electric signals and wirelessly transmit the first signals. The ratio station devices transmit second signals at the timing reported using the first signals. The plurality of antenna units convert, into optical signals, the second signals wirelessly received from the respective radio station devices. The conversion unit converts the second signals from the optical signals into electric signals. The wireless transmitter/receiver calculates, for each of the radio station devices, transmission delay using a difference between the receipt time of a second signal and the receipt time of a signal transmitted at timing allocated to the radio station device when it is assumed that there is no transmission delay. On the basis of the transmission delay at each of the radio station devices, the wireless transmitter/receiver determines guard time between the time slots allocated to the radio station devices.
