Abstract:
Provided are an optically alignable copolymer whereby an optical alignment film having excellent heat resistance can be fabricated, an optical alignment film fabricated using the optically alignable copolymer, and an optical layered body. The optically alignable copolymer has repeating units A including an optically alignable group represented by formula (1), and repeating units B including a crosslinkable group represented by formula (2). The optical alignment film is formed using a composition for an optical alignment film containing the optically alignable copolymer, the optical layered body has the optical alignment film and an optically anisotropic layer, and an image display device according to the present invention has the optical layered body.
