Abstract:
An optimal menu determination system includes: a database for storing weather data of each day of each month of at least one year, calendar data unique to each of at least one customer, and power usage amount data on a monthly basis unique to the customer; a prediction model generation unit which acquires, from the database, at least estimation-purpose weather data of each day of each month and estimation-purpose calendar data unique to the customer, and which, on the basis of at least the estimation-purpose weather data of each day of each month and the estimation-purpose calendar data unique to the customer, generates a first prediction model for predicting a power usage amount of the customer on a monthly basis; and a rate plan evaluation unit which acquires, from the database, evaluation-purpose weather data of each day of each month of at least a plurality of years and evaluation-purpose calendar data of the next year unique to the customer, and which, using the evaluation-purpose weather data and the evaluation-purpose calendar data and according to the generated first prediction model, calculates, as a prediction distribution, predicted values of the power usage amounts of the customer on a monthly basis comprising the same number of sets as the number of the plurality of years of the evaluation-purpose weather data.
