Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for optimising a direct-current motor as part of an armature rewinding. In order to optimise the direct-current motor beyond the scope of known solutions, a method of this type proposes an increase in the copper cross-section (2) of the windings (1) and a reduction in the thickness (3) of the insulating material. A compole flux and a winding geometry are adjusted in accordance with a new winding calculation, whilst maintaining the slot cross-section, in such a way that the commutation time remains the same as before the optimisation process.
