Abstract:
The present invention enables variable scale and variable precision. A storage unit (11) stores a coefficient indicating the magnitude of the interaction between bits in a spin bit sequence representing the state of the Ising model. When any of the bits in the spin bit sequence is inverted, each of bit operation circuits (1a1 to 1aN) outputs a signal indicating the advisability of inverting a self bit in accordance with calculation of energy change using a coefficient corresponding to the self bit and an inverted bit read from the storage unit. A selection circuit unit (2) outputs, to each of bit operation circuits (1a1 to 1aK) for a first number of bits (K) from the spin bit sequence, a signal indicating a bit to be inverted selected on the basis of the signals indicating the advisability of inversion output from each of the bit operation circuits (1a1 to 1aK). A setting modification unit (5) performs modification of the first number of bits (K) with respect to the selection circuit unit (2) and modification of a second number of bits of a coefficient with respect to the bit operation circuits (1a1 to 1aK).
