Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an oral administration agent for pregnant women for increasing the concentration of short-chain fatty acids in the blood of a pregnant woman or the fetus, for imparting resistance to obesity to the fetus, or for preventing postnatal obesity or disorders caused by postnatal obesity in the fetus. For achieving this purpose, provided is an oligosaccharide-containing oral administration agent for pregnant women, said oral administration agent for pregnant women being for increasing the concentration of short-chain fatty acids in the blood of a pregnant woman or the fetus, for imparting resistance to obesity to the fetus, or for preventing postnatal obesity or disorders caused by postnatal obesity in the fetus.
