Abstract:
An oral cavity composition characterized by comprising: (a) one or more polyvalent metal salts selected from a divalent metal salt and trivalent metal salt of an organic acid having 2-12 carbon atoms and a divalent metal salt and trivalent metal salt of an inorganic acid; and (b) one or more members selected from a fatty acid and fatty acid ester having a straight-chain structure with 8-22 carbon atoms and a fatty acid and fatty acid ester having a branched-chain structure with 8-22 carbon atom. According to the present invention, an oral cavity composition with good usability, which comprises a polyvalent metal salt and has an excellent and long-lasting astringent feeling and in which the metallic taste derived from a polyvalent metal ion is masked, can be provided.
