Abstract:
Provided are: a bitterness amelioration agent that ameliorates the bitterness of α-olefin sulfonates and imparts a good flavor when used; and an oral composition containing the same. An oral composition containing (A) an α-olefin sulfonate, (B) glycyrrhizic acid or a salt thereof, and (C) at least one selected from linalool oxide, cis-3-hexenol, methyl dihydrojasmonate, linalool, linalyl acetate, geraniol, and methyl jasmonate. A bitterness amelioration agent for the component (A) that could be suitably included in an oral composition containing the component (A), said bitterness amelioration agent containing the components (B) and (C).
