Abstract:
An oral ibuprofen preparation which includes ibuprofen, magnesium oxide, and glycyrrhetinic acid and which is highly effective in mitigating the gastric-mucosa-disordering action of ibuprofen. Specifically, the oral ibuprofen preparation contains magnesium oxide in an amount of 0.01-8.0 parts by weight per part by weight of the ibuprofen and contains glycyrrhetinic acid in an amount of 0.01-0.2 parts by weight per part by weight of the ibuprofen.
