An order processing system and method. In the method, a central end (20) sends an order queue to a background end (30), and a fabrication object fabricates an ordered object in the order queue; in response to an update operation of the fabrication object with regard to a fabrication state of a target ordered object in the order queue, the background end (30) sends an updated fabrication state of the target ordered object to the central end (20); and the central end (20) updates the order queue on this basis, and sends the fabrication state of the target ordered object to a client (10) associated with an issuing object of the target ordered object (S130), so that the fabrication state of each ordered object in a target order can be known by an initiating user of the target order in a timely manner, thereby reducing the anxiety of the user when waiting.
