Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide an ordering method and device, a decoding method, an encoding method, a decoder, and an encoder. The ordering method comprises: obtaining a first merge candidate list; on the basis of zero motion vector merge candidates in the first merge candidate list, determining a first quantity of merge candidates in the first merge candidate list participating in ordering; and on the basis of the first quantity, ordering the merge candidates in the first merge candidate list to obtain a second merge candidate list. In the embodiments of the present application, the first quantity of the merge candidates in the first merge candidate list participating in ordering is determined by considering the zero motion vector merge candidates in the first merge candidate list, so that the situation that all of zero motion vector merge candidates in the first merge candidate list participate in ordering or none of same participates in ordering can be avoided, the accuracy of the second merge candidate list is improved, and the encoding performance and the decoding performance are further improved.
