Abstract:
An ore slurry cyclonic flotation method includes controlling the average diameter of the ore slurry froth in the range of 0.10 - 3.00cm and the thickness of the ore slurry froth layer in the range of 3 - 50cm during the ore separation of the cyclonic flotation. The controlling method includes: adjusting the distance between the baffle (8) and the ore slurry inlet in the floatation cell (11), adjusting the air input by regulating the valve (201) positioned on the air inlet pipe (2) of the air bubble generator (3), and real-time monitoring some procedure parameters during the ore separation. The present invention also provides a cyclone jetting flotation column appropriate for said cyclonic flotation method and a flotation apparatus including the flotation column. The invention is applicable to separation fields for various minerals, can reduce the operating cost of mineral separation, and can also greatly reduce the manufacturing cost and production cost of the flotation apparatus; Furthermore, it economizes on energy, for example, 65% than a conventional flotation apparatus, more than 45% than a traditional flotation column.
