The present invention relates to a novel compound and an organic electroluminescent device comprising the same. The compound according to the present invention is used for an organic material layer of an organic electroluminescent device, preferably an electron transport layer, and thus can enhance the luminous efficiency, the driving voltage, the lifespan, etc. of the organic electroluminescent device.
