Abstract:

The present disclosure provides an organic light-emitting element that is provided with a positive electrode, a light-emitting layer, and a negative electrode in the stated order. The light-emitting layer contains a dopant material and a host material. The dopant material is a compound represented by general formula [1]. The host material is a hydrocarbon. R1-R8 are each independently selected from a hydrogen atom, alkyl groups, and the like. However, R1-R8 do not include a cyano group. m represents an integer of 1-3, n represents an integer of 0-2. However, m+n equals 3. X represents a bidentate ligand, and partial structure IrX is either one of the structures represented by general formulae [2] and [3]. R9-R19 are each independently selected from a hydrogen atom, alkyl groups, and the like. Ring A is any one of the structures represented by general formulae [4]-[7]. R20-R29 are each independently selected from a hydrogen atom, alkyl groups, and the like.
