Abstract:
Deoxidizers have been demanded which cannot be detected by metal detectors. Thus, disclosed is an organic deoxidizer in which a metal such as a reducing iron powder is not used, and which does not undergo the scattering of powders of raw materials upon the mixing of the raw materials, can be produced with improved production efficiency, and has improved deoxidization performance. Specifically disclosed is an organic deoxidizer which comprises the main component comprising an easily oxidizable organic substance, an alkali agent and water, and which is characterized in that calcium hydroxide and calcium carbonate are used as the alkali agent and the alkali agent is contained in an amount of 20 to 200 parts by weight relative to 100 parts by weight of the main component.
