Abstract:
An organic EL device that is provided with a TFT substrate 1, a first electrode 5 that is provided upon the TFT substrate 1, an organic EL layer 6 that is provided upon the first electrode 5, a second electrode 7 that is provided upon the organic EL layer 6, and a sealing film 10 that is provided so as to cover the second electrode 7. Upwardly protruding protrusions 11, 12 are provided upon the TFT substrate 1, and the sealing film 10 covers the protrusions 11, 12.
