Abstract:
This organic EL display device (1) is provided with a reflecting electrode (20) and a transparent electrode (33) which are disposed facing each other with an organic EL layer (32) interposed therebetween, the reflecting electrode (20) having a reflecting film (22) and a protective film (23) formed on the reflecting film (22), and the protective film (23) having a frame-like part (23a) that surrounds the periphery of the organic EL layer (32) in a frame-like manner, and an opening part (23b) that is surrounded by the frame-like part (23a). Thus, the reflecting electrode is protected, and the reflectivity of the reflecting electrode is improved.
