Abstract:
Provided is an organic EL display device having exceptional light-emitting efficiency and display performance. This display device has a layered structure in which a first electrode layer, an organic layer, and a second electrode layer are layered in the stated order on a substrate, the display device being provided with at least two types of organic light-emitting element for emitting different colors of light. The organic layer includes a common light-emitting layer provided in common to all the types of organic light-emitting element, and an individual light-emitting layer provided only to the types of organic light-emitting element that emit specified colors of light. Some of the types of organic light-emitting elements have a transparent electroconductive layer between the first electrode layer and the organic layer.
