Abstract:
Disclosed are an organic EL display panel and a production method for same that enable comparatively low-cost production, prevent shorting and abnormal emissions without using a pixel regulating layer, and enable appropriate pixel separation. Specifically disclosed are an organic EL display panel and a production method for same which form organic EL display panels with a more uniform film thickness than conventional organic EL display panels and which provide good image display performance. Single-layer regions (150, 151) of only a reflection metal film (60) are disposed in a lower electrode (6) of a panel (100). Metal oxide films (62, 63) formed from a metal material derived from the reflection metal film (60) are added to surface of the exposed reflection metal film (60). The metal oxide films (62, 63) are formed by etching and ashing in a lower electrode production step.
