Abstract:
This organic EL display panel has a plurality of pixels disposed in a matrix form, and comprises: a base board; a plurality of pixel electrode layers arranged in a matrix form on the base board and comprising a light-reflective material; an insulation layer disposed above the base board and the pixel electrode layers; organic functional layers, each disposed above each of the plurality of pixel electrode layers; and translucent opposite electrode layers, each disposed above a plurality of light-emitting layers. Open in the insulation layer above the pixel electrode layer are: first openings, each having an elongates shape extending in a column direction; and a plurality of second openings yielding a column form in a parallel state to the first holes, each of the second openings having a column direction length that is shorter than that of each of the first openings. The organic functional layer contains a light-emitting layer generating organic electroluminescence inside the first holes and the plurality of second holes.
