Abstract:
An organic EL display comprising a thin film transistor formed on a substrate, an insulating film formed on the substrate to cover the thin film transistor, and an organic EL element formed on the insulating film, wherein a recess is formed in the insulating film and the organic EL element is formed in the recess to be connected with the thin film transistor through a contact hole made in the insulating film.
