Abstract:
The present invention discloses an organic EL element which is provided with a first electrode, a second electrode, and an organic layer that is arranged between the first electrode and the second electrode and comprises a light emitting layer. The organic layer comprises, between the first electrode and the light emitting layer, a first layer that contains a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon compound having orientation and a second layer that contains more elemental nitrogen than the first layer.
