Abstract:
The present invention provides an organic EL element that can suppress coloring and enhance transparency. This organic EL element of the present invention is characterized by comprising a first substrate, a positive electrode, an organic EL layer, a negative electrode, a second substrate, and a light extraction layer, wherein the first substrate, the positive electrode, the organic EL layer, the negative electrode, and the second substrate are stacked in this order, the organic EL layer comprises a light emitting layer, and the light extraction layer is disposed on at least one among the first substrate and the second substrate on at least one among: a surface on which the positive electrode, the organic EL layer, and the negative electrode are stacked; and a surface on an opposite side to the surface on which the positive electrode, the organic EL layer, and the negative electrode are stacked.
