Abstract:
The present invention is provided with: a first electrode; a second electrode; an organic light-emitting layer for each of the colors R, G, and B; a functional layer disposed between the first electrode and the organic light-emitting layer; and a color film. The functional layer for each of the colors R, G, and B has the same film thickness. Also, of the functional layer of the colors R and G, in the film thickness thereof, the individual light extraction efficiency exhibits a first-order maximum value, and of the functional layer of the color B, in the film thickness thereof, the individual light extraction efficiency exhibits a value that is less than the first-order maximum value. The organic light-emitting layer for each of the colors R, G, and B has a different film thickness in a manner such that the functional layer for each of the colors R, G, and B has a film thickness of such a sort. As a result, the light extraction efficiency of light radiated to the outside through a color filter of each of the colors R, G, and B exhibits a first-order maximum.
