Abstract:
Disclosed is an organic electret masterbatch for a melt-blown nonwoven fabric used in face masks and preparation method thereof, and the melt-blown nonwoven fabric prepared therefrom. Said organic electret masterbatch is prepared from the following constituents by weight percentage: 80-90% of polypropylene resin, 2-10% of fluorine electret powder, 1-10% of compatibilizer, and 0.05-0.5% of processing aid; the average particle diameter of said fluorine electret powder being 0.05-3 μm; said compatibilizer being a maleic anhydride grafted-olefin copolymer/elastomer or a glycidyl methacrylate grafted-olefin copolymer/elastomer; the melt flow index of said polypropylene resin being not less than 1000g/10min, and the length-to-diameter ratio of a screw for preparing the organic electret masterbatch for the melt-blown nonwoven fabric being greater than or equal to 40:1. The present organic electret masterbatch overcomes the blockage problem of current electret masterbatches caused by electret powder separation during the production process of the melt-blown nonwoven fabric, and, as the fluorine electret powder is more evenly dispersed, the addition of a small amount thereof can yield a good electret effect.
