Abstract:
Provided is an organic electric-field light-emitting device material which includes at least a phosphorescent compound having an aspect ratio of diameter to thickness of the molecular core (the diameter of the molecular core / the thickness of the molecular core) of at least 3 and a discotic liquid crystalline host compound. The size ratio between the molecular radius of the phosphorescent compound and the molecular radius of the discotic liquid crystalline host compound (the radius of the phosphorescent compound molecule / the radius of the discotic liquid crystalline host compound molecule) is 0.8 to 1.2.
