Title:
ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENCE ELEMENT, DISPLAY DEVICE, AND LIGHTING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/126370
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing: an organic electroluminescence (EL) element having minimal initial degradation, high light-emitting efficiency, and long element service life; and a display device and a lighting device equipped with said organic EL element. This organic EL element has organic layers where at least one light-emitting layer is included between an anode and a cathode, wherein the organic EL element is characterized in that at least one of the light-emitting layers contains a π-conjugated compound and a compound having a prescribed structure as a light-emitting compound, electron transition between HOMO and LUMO occurring in the π-conjugated compound due to through-space interaction in the same molecule, and the π-conjugated compound having a π-conjugated aromatic ring in the area in which the HOMO and/or the LUMO is localized.
