Abstract:
Provided is an organic electroluminescence element having a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a light-emitting layer that is included between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, and a hole transport layer that is included between the positive electrode and the light-emitting layer, the light-emitting layer containing a first compound represented by general formula (1) and a second compound exhibiting fluorescent properties, and the hole transport layer containing a third compound represented by general formula (3). In general formula (1), Z1 is represented by general formula (1a). A ring structure represented by general formula (1b) or (1c) may be condensed with Z1. X1 and X2 are oxygen atoms, sulfur atoms, NRA, or CRBRC.
