Abstract:
This organic electroluminescence element is provided with a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and an organic layer interposed between the positive and negative electrodes, wherein the organic layer comprises a first compound represented by general formula (1) and a second compound represented by general formula (2). In general formula (1), A1 represents a substituted or unsubstituted nitrogen-containing heterocyclic group having 5-24 ring-constituting atoms; and L1 represents a single-bond, a substituted or unsubstituted divalent aryl group having 6-24 ring-constituting carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted divalent heterocyclic group having 5-24 ring-constituting atoms. In general formula (2), X1 represents an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom.
