Abstract:
An organic electroluminescent component with an exciplex serving as a main body material, specifically related to is an organic electroluminescent component comprising a main body material and a fluorescent material. The main body material comprises a first organic compound and a second organic compound. A mixture or interface formed by the first organic compound and the second organic compound produces an exciplex under a light excitation or electric field excitation. An effective overlap is found between the emission spectrum of the exciplex formed and the absorption spectrum of a fluorescent-doped material, thus forming an effective energy transfer. Moreover, the first organic compound and the second organic compound have different carrier transport characteristics. The fluorescent material is a boron atom-containing organic compound. The organic electroluminescent component manufactured per the method is characterized by high efficiency and an extended service life.
