Abstract:
An organic electroluminescent device according to an embodiment of the present invention is provided with a substrate which has a recessed portion on one side, a reflective layer which is provided at least along the surface of the recessed portion, an optically transparent fill layer which is filled inside of the recessed portion, with the reflective layer interposed therebetween, an optically transparent first electrode which is disposed on at least the upper layer side of the fill layer, an organic layer which is disposed on the upper layer of the first electrode and at least comprises a light emitting layer, and an optically transparent and optically reflective second electrode which is disposed on the upper layer side of the organic layer, wherein the fill layer contains at least one type of phosphor.
