Abstract:
Disclosed is an organic electroluminescent device material having high luminous efficiency and excellent durability. Also disclosed is an organic electroluminescent device comprising such an organic electroluminescent device material. Further disclosed are a display and an illuminating device respectively using such an organic electroluminescent device. The organic electroluminescent device material contains an orthometalated iridium complex and a group 8-10 metal other than iridium, and is characterized in that the group 8-10 metal content relative to the orthometalated iridium complex is 0.01-100 ppm.
