Abstract:
This organic electroluminescent (EL) element includes an organic layer that contains a fullerene derivative polymer, wherein the fullerene derivative polymer comprises not only multiple fullerene derivatives that each bear 2 to 10 structures (X) represented by formula (1) but also one or more divalent groups (Y) represented by formula (2) and has a crosslinked structure where the fullerene derivatives are bonded to each other through the divalent groups (Y) bonded to the structures (X) of the derivatives.
