Abstract:
Provided are an organic electroluminescent element (10) having excellent properties in terms of light extraction efficiency, weather resistance and fire resistance, and a light extraction sheet (2) for an organic electroluminescent element. This organic electroluminescent element (10) comprises: an organic electroluminescent element main body (1) having an element substrate (11), a first electrode (12) formed on the element substrate, an organic compound layer (13) formed on the first electrode and including a light-emitting layer, and a second electrode (14) formed on the organic compound layer; and a light extraction sheet (2) which is on the light extraction surface side of the organic electroluminescent element main body. Therein, the light extraction sheet (2) comprises a glass cloth substrate (2a) impregnated with a binder resin containing micro particles of an oxide of at least one metal selected from the group consisting of Ti, Ce, Zn and Fe.
