Title:
ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENT ELEMENT, AND MATERIAL FOR ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENT ELEMENTS HAVING DIBENZOTHIOPHENE STRUCTURE OR DIBENZOFURAN STRUCTURE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/033062
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a superior organic electroluminescent element having low drive voltage with small chromaticity shift even when stored at high temperature. The organic electroluminescent element having, on a substrate, a pair of electrodes comprising an anode and a cathode and at least one organic layer comprising a luminescent layer between said electrodes, contains at least one kind of phosphorescent material in the luminescent layer and at least one layer of the at least one organic layers contains a compound represented by formula (1). X represents an oxygen atom or sulfur atom. R101-R107 each independently represent hydrogen atoms or substituting groups. R108 represents an alkyl group. When n is 1, La represents a non-alkyl group substituting group and R109 represents a hydrogen atom or non-alkyl group substituting group. When n is an integer of 2 or more, La represents an n-valent aromatic hydrocarbon group, and R109 represents a hydrogen atom or non-alkyl group substituting group. Regardless of whether n is 1 or more, if R109 and R108 are adjacent to each other, R108 and R109 can bond to form an alicyclic structure.
