Title:
ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENT ELEMENT AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/115175
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide: an organic electroluminescent element which employs a thin film resin base for a base that constitutes the organic electroluminescent element, and which has excellent bendability and flexibility, while having excellent resistance to folding; and a method for manufacturing the organic electroluminescent element. An organic electroluminescent element according to the present invention comprises, on a base, at least a pair of electrodes that are arranged so as to face each other and a group of organic function layers including a light emitting layer, said group of organic function layers being held between the pair of electrodes. This organic electroluminescent element is characterized in that: the base is a resin base having a thickness within the range of 3-50 μm; and the resin base-side electrode is a transparent positive electrode that is mainly composed of silver and has a thickness within the range of 2-20 nm.
