Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2022/149493
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention provides a practically useful organic EL element which operates at a low voltage, while having a high efficiency and long service life characteristics. An organic electroluminescent element (organic EL element) which comprises one or more light emitting layers between a positive electrode and a negative electrode facing each other, and which is characterized in that at least one light emitting layer contains: a first host that is selected from among biscarbazole compounds that are represented by general formula (1), wherein at least one triphenylene group is substituted; a second host that is selected from among indolocarbazole compounds to which a nitrogen-containing six-membered ring is bonded; and a luminescent dopant material. (In the formula, each of m and n represents the number of repetitions, while satisfying (m + n) ≥ 1.)
