Abstract:
Provided is an organic EL element which has excellent luminous efficiency and excellent storage stability at high temperatures. An organic EL element (1) according to the present invention comprises a substrate (2), an organic electroluminescent layer (organic EL layer) (4) and a light extraction layer (6), which are sequentially formed in this order, and extracts light generated in the organic EL layer (4) to the direction opposite to the substrate (2). The content ratio of a solvent contained in the light extraction layer (6) is 10-100 ppm.
