Abstract:
The present invention relates to an organic-inorganic composite type elastic membrane waterproofing composition having interfacial adhesion, elasticity, and high waterproof performance, and to a preparation method therefor. The organic-inorganic composite type elastic membrane waterproofing composition of the present invention is prepared by mixing an inorganic powder material and a liquid portion composed of a composite polyvinyl-based polymer and a natural rubber latex, the composite polyvinyl-based polymer containing modified polyvinyl acetate (PAVc) and polyvinyl butyral while PVAc is used as a base. In particular, the composition prepared by the present invention enhances elasticity, adhesive strength, and hardness of a waterproof membrane, and has excellent tensile strength, wear resistance, oxygen barrier properties, toughness, and high elasticity. Therefore, when used as an elastic membrane waterproofing material, the composition shows excellent finishing characteristics and can significantly improve the waterproof performance of concrete, steel frames, and wooden structures, and the followability to earthquakes.
