Abstract:
In the present invention, an organic light-emitting device has a plurality of light-emitting parts disposed in two dimensions along the main surface of a substrate. The light-emitting parts are formed in layers in a first direction orthogonal to the main surface of the substrate, with a first insulating layer interposed therebetween, said light-emitting parts comprising a first electrode, an organic multilayer body, and a second electrode. Non-light-emitting parts are present between adjacent light-emitting parts in a second direction that is one of the directions in which the plurality of the light-emitting parts are arranged, and the first electrodes of the light-emitting parts on both sides of the non-light-emitting parts extend to the non-light-emitting parts. A second insulating layer is interposed between the first electrodes in the non-light-emitting parts. The second insulating layer covers the first electrodes in the non-light-emitting parts. The second insulating layer is formed in a position lower than the top surface of the first electrodes in the light-emitting parts, with the top surface of the substrate being the point of reference.
