Abstract:

Disclosed is an organic light emitting element, which is provided with a lower electrode (101), an upper electrode (102), and an organic layer (103) disposed between the lower electrode (101) and the upper electrode (102). The organic layer (103) is provided with a charge transport layer (10), and a mixed layer (11) in contact with the charge transport layer (10), and the mixed layer (11) is configured to contain a host material, a first dopant, and a charge transporting material. The first dopant contains a first functional group, and the charge transporting material contains a second functional group. The first dopant is configured such that the first dopant is drawn to the charge transport layer contact surface, i.e., the surface on the side where the mixed layer (11) is in contact with the charge transport layer (10), and the charge transporting material is configured such that the material is drawn to the surfaces other than the charge transport layer contact surface of the mixed layer (11). The present invention makes it possible to easily control the concentration of molecules contained in the mixed layer of a light emitting layer and the charge transport layer.
